The medal missing its ribbon. Nice original example in good condition!
This medal was instituted around 1922 by the Kyffhäuserbund for award to members who fought in the First World War. This medal was banned from wear after 1936 due to the institution of the Hindenburg Cross (Ehrenkreuz für Frontkämpfer) in 1934.
